ITINERARY

Day 1

Mexico City and Teotihuacán.

We will begin the day by visiting Mexico City's Historic Center, the Plaza de las Tres Culturas, and the Basilica of Guadalupe. Then, we will head to the Teotihuacán Archaeological Site to explore the famous pyramids.


Distance to be covered: Mexico City – Teotihuacán – Mexico City. 100 km. Road travel time: 1 hour each way.

Overnight in Mexico City.

Day 2

Puebla and Oaxaca.

We will depart to Puebla to visit the most interesting places in the city, and then continue our journey towards Oaxaca in the afternoon.


Distance to be covered: Mexico City - Puebla 130 km. Road travel time: 2 hours.

Distance to be covered: Puebla - Oaxaca 340 km. Road travel time: 5 hours.

Overnight in Oaxaca.

Day 3

Oaxaca, Monte Albán, Mitla and Tule.

After breakfast, we will visit Monte Albán, Mitla, and the Tule tree. In the afternoon, we will explore the city of Oaxaca.


Distance to be covered: Monte Albán – Mitla. 64 km. Road travel time: 1 hour 20 minutes.

Distance to be covered: Mitla – Oaxaca Centro. 50 km. Road travel time: 1 hour 20 minutes.

Overnight in Oaxaca.

Day 4

Sumidero, San Cristóbal.

We will have breakfast on the way and depart early towards Tuxtla Gutiérrez to enjoy the topography and flora of the mountains. Then, we will transfer by boat to the Sumidero Canyon and continue to San Cristóbal for dinner and overnight stay.


Distance to be covered: Oaxaca – Sumidero Canyon. 545 km. Road travel time: 8 hours 30 minutes.

Distance to be covered: Sumidero Canyon – San Cristobal de las Casas 87 km. Road travel time: 2 hours.

Overnight in San Cristóbal de las Casas.

Day 5

San Cristóbal and Indigenous Towns.

After breakfast, we will visit San Juan Chamula and Zinacantan to learn about the culture and traditions of indigenous towns.

Day 6

Agua Azul, Palenque.

After breakfast, we will visit Agua Azul waterfall and then head to Palenque. At night, we will enjoy dinner at the La Selva restaurant.


Distance to be covered: San Cristobal de las Casas – Agua Azul waterfall 158 km. Road travel time: 4 hours.

Distance to be covered: Agua Azul waterfall – Palenque 63 km. Road travel time: 1 hour 30 minutes.

Overnight in Palenque.

Day 7

Palenque and Campeche.

After breakfast, we will visit the Palenque Archaeological Site to observe a panoramic view of the Gulf of Mexico. Then, we will transfer to the city of Campeche for a panoramic tour.


Distance to be covered: Palenque Archaeological Site – Campeche 366 km. Road travel time: 5 hours 30 minutes.

Overnight in Campeche.

Day 8

Uxmal and Mérida.

After breakfast, we will visit the Uxmal Archaeological Site and then head to Mérida to continue exploring Mayan culture.


Distance to be covered: Campeche – Uxmal Archaeological Site 159 km. Road travel time: 2 hours.

Distance to be covered: Uxmal Archaeological Site – Mérida 80 km. Road travel time: 1 hour 20 minutes.

Overnight in Mérida.

Day 9

Chichen Itzá and Cancún.

After breakfast, we will visit Chichen Itzá and then transfer to Cancun, where we will stay overnight.

Distance to be covered: Chichen Itza Archaeological Site – Cancun 205 km. Road travel time: 3 hours 10 minutes.

Day 10

Cancún.

We will enjoy a free day to relax on the beach and enjoy the tropical climate.

Cancún.

We will enjoy a day to visit the Xcaret water park.


Distance to be covered: Cancun – Xcaret Park - Cancun. 152 km. Road travel time: 1 hour 10 minutes each way.

Day 12

Departure transfer from Cancun.

At the indicated time, we will transfer to the Cancun Airport for the departure flight.

  1. How many people can go in a group?

There is no maximum capacity established for our tour groups. We adapt to the needs of the passenger and can organize tours for small or large groups.

  1. Can I book the tour just for myself or do I need to form a group?

If you wish, you can book the tour exclusively for yourself or for any number of people you prefer. However, if the size of your group does not reach the minimum required to carry out the tour, you will have to join an established circuit. To find out the departure date of the next available circuit, please contact us.

  1. What are the available dates for the tour?

Tour dates are specific and may vary depending on the season and itinerary. We recommend checking our availability calendar on our website or contacting us directly for more information about the dates of the tour you are interested in.

  1. How are the rooms distributed on the tour?

The distribution of the rooms will depend on the size of the group and the preferences of the clients. We can organize single, double, triple or quadruple rooms as needed.

  1. What type of vehicle is used for transportation on the tour?

We use modern and comfortable vehicles for our tours, such as vans, minibuses or buses equipped with air conditioning and comfortable seats.

  1. What languages does the tour guide speak on the tour?

Currently, we have tour guides who speak English and Spanish on our tours. If you need another language, please contact us in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements.

  1. What is not included in the price of the tour?

The price of the tour includes the services and activities specified in the itinerary. Any additional service or activity not included in the itinerary, such as meals outside of those specified, entrance fees to museums and additional attractions, and other personal expenses will have to be covered by the client.

  1. How is luggage handled during the tour?

During the tour, luggage will be transported in the tour vehicle. Participants can bring one piece of luggage per person, in addition to a small handbag. It is the responsibility of each participant to ensure that their luggage is labeled with their name and contact number, and is ready to be loaded into the vehicle.

  1. Is it necessary to have any type of insurance for the tour?

We strongly recommend that all participants have travel insurance that covers any eventuality that may arise during the tour, such as illness, accident, cancellation, loss of luggage, among others. Please be sure to verify the details of your insurance policy before traveling.

 

Date Changes:

In the event of a change of travel date by the passenger, an administrative fee of 10% to 30% of the total package value will be charged, depending on the next available date of travel (subject to availability and provider policies).

 

Cancellation:

In the event of cancellation by the passenger, Viewmextours will refund the amount paid as follows:

Deducting the deposit commission and other fees:

Up to 30 days prior to the travel date, there will be no penalty and the total value will be refunded to your bank account.

Up to 20 days prior to the travel date, the penalty is 10% of the total package value, plus any expenses incurred by the agency.

Up to 10 days prior to the travel date, the penalty is 30% of the total package value, plus any expenses incurred by the agency.

Less than 10 days before the travel date, the full package value will be retained.

Note: The agency will have a period of up to 60 business days to refund the money to the travel contractor, in accordance with the above conditions, counted from the date of the cancellation request.
